About The Book
The Home Theater Book
is all about designing and building a dedicated home theater. The idea of a home theater is something many desire, but the task seems so big that lots of people give up. I wanted to write a book that shows what others have done, walk through the process from concept to completion. Here on the site, I have plenty of free home theater resources for you, from Audio Interviews to Home Theater Videos. When you are ready to get everything the site has to offer, you can click here to get started!
The Home Theater Book was created for:
- People who love movies!
- People who want to design or build a home theater
- People who want to learn from the experience of other home theater owners
- People who are going to contract a theater project and want to know what to watch for
- People who love home theater and want to see what others have done
- People who want to see hundreds of home theater construction photos!
Watch the short video below for a fast overview of what you can find in The Home Theater Book.
The book itself is split into four main parts (organizing the content was actually one of the hardest parts!), each one covering a major section about home theater. Although most people read through the book in order the first time, if you are getting ready to build you will most likely jump around quite a lot when you are working on your project. So the book is not a specific order of construction, and this is because there is no set order (except for the obvious like walls need to be built before you can put drywall on them.)
Since the ebook is so massive, I thought I would break down the sections here on the website, talk about each one a bit and setup the site so that readers can provide feedback on content. The only way I can make the book even better is to hear from readers, so if you have read the book and have questions or suggestions about making it better, post them in the various sections (links to each part are below).
The Four Main Sections Are:
Bonuses There are currently four downloadable PDF documents as additional resources. Check out the details of the included bonuses here.
FAQ Check out the Frequently Asked Questions about the book and the website here.
Please do take a moment to write down your thoughts about what sorts of topics you think need to be covered in the different parts, and if you have read the book and want to give feedback on the content, go ahead and post that below as well. I look forward to reading all your comments!

How do I optimally setup my home theatre speakers?…
While one could write out the entire process here you may be better served by using the information in a resource like ‘ The Home Theater Book’ by Warren Peterson http://thehometheaterbook.com/about-the-book/
